Couples Therapy

In many relationships there are phases where conversations become more difficult, conflicts repeat, or closeness fades. You receive a protected space to reconnect with one another and develop new forms of communication.

Gaining clarity for your relationship

Sometimes it's about concrete topics such as trust, intimacy, everyday life, children, jealousy, differing needs, or how to handle stress. Sometimes the question is rather whether and how the relationship can continue.

The aim is not to assign blame, but to better understand the dynamic between the two of you and make change possible together. You gain understanding: what do you both need? What hurts stand between you? Which patterns keep repeating? And which next steps feel right for your relationship?

Couples therapy can help with

  • Recurring conflicts and escalations
  • Communication problems and misunderstandings
  • Emotional distance, withdrawal or lack of closeness
  • Breaches of trust, jealousy or insecurity
  • Strain from stress, work, family or major life changes
  • Differing needs for closeness, autonomy, intimacy or commitment
  • Decision-making crises and thoughts of separation
  • The wish to shape the relationship more consciously and stably
How couples therapy can help

Recognising patterns, deepening understanding

In couples therapy, typical relationship patterns become visible: who withdraws when? Who seeks closeness when? When do conversations tip into blame, justification or silence? What unspoken wishes, fears or hurts lie beneath? Through structured conversations as well as behavioural and systemic methods, you both learn to express yourselves more clearly, listen to each other better and develop new solutions.

Defusing conflict

You receive support in understanding and defusing recurring conflicts, and in deepening mutual understanding.

Communication & closeness

You receive tools to make your communication clearer and more appreciative, and to rebuild emotional closeness.

Shared decisions

You receive support in making joint decisions more consciously, stabilising your relationship, or gaining respectful clarity about the future.
