Group Therapy
Sometimes it helps especially to work on similar topics together with others. You receive structured group therapy in one of four topic areas – as a combination of online and in-person sessions.

Growing together in the group
In group therapy you receive a protected setting in which you work together with other affected people on similar topics. The exchange with one another, experiencing similar situations, and targeted exercises in a group context can be effective in addition to individual support.
Unlike individual therapy, which takes place entirely online, the group concept combines online and in-person sessions: this gives you the flexibility of online work together with the effectiveness of group contact and group dynamics in the in-person sessions.
Four group concepts
- ADHD group: for adults with ADHD who want to work out strategies for everyday life, focus and self-organisation together with others
- Depression, burnout & stress group: for adults with depressive symptoms, exhaustion or ongoing stress
- Anxiety, panic & phobia group: for adults with anxiety, panic attacks or phobias
- Trans-diagnostic schema-therapy group: cross-topic, focused on deeply anchored patterns – open to different topics and concerns
How group therapy is structured
Each group comprises 24 sessions of 100 minutes each and is complemented by preparatory individual sessions.
Preparatory individual sessions
Before the group begins, you receive 2 to 5 individual sessions. In these, your personal goals are worked out, along with an assessment and placement into the appropriate group.
Online sessions (20 × 100 min.)
The majority of the group – 20 of the 24 sessions – takes place online. Here you receive psychoeducation as well as theories, models and therapy methods relating to the respective topic area.
In-person sessions (4 × 100 min.)
4 sessions take place in person and serve team building as well as targeted exercises and methods that are especially effective in personal contact.
Who this service is suitable for
This service is aimed at adults who fit one of the four topic areas and want to benefit from working in a group context. Placement into the appropriate group happens together with you during the preparatory individual sessions.
Combined online & in person
Unlike individual therapy, which takes place exclusively online, group therapy combines online sessions with in-person appointments – for flexibility in everyday life and effective personal encounters at the same time.
